I just stumbled upon this page. We are using phpRaider now and it just rocks, except for some small minor setbacks you, if I understand correctly, will have fixed in this gem in the making. I fully agree with Nyaku, people should sign up with a preferred character and sign up with different characters as 'backups'. If you plan to implement such a thing, remember that certain classes have the ability to e.g. heal and dps, so you can have an alternative sign up with the same character :)

These are the other things I am missing in phpRaider:
1. Which character is from which 'member'. Our guild is so large with so many alts that I (as raid leader) often don't know which characters are played by the same person.

2. I love the raid templates, but it's too bad the invite and start time are not saved. Besides that we always raid three times per week on the same days, so it would be awesome to have a template which could plan all three raids at once, using a day offset per raid.

3. E-mail confirmation for 'new raids' and changed events (player gets accepted or declined).

4. You can add a comment with your sign up now. I use that to say to people to come with an alt. It would be nice to let them have an e-mail confirmation of that too.

Well, I think that's it. Again, awesome job on phpRaider and this piece!

Yes. The point 1 is perfect in Blitzaroo. And for the point 2, I mean the lack to signup with more than one character at the same time. Maybe an option (I'm not a programmer, and maybe I say a barbarity) can be a signup with two options: select a main (your preference to play the event), and then select (maybe with checkboxes) other characters from your profile (with the requirements of the event) that you can play if needed. Then, if you signup with one main and, for example, two alter characters, the other only see your main in the lists (and stats, etc.), but with two icons representing the role of the two alters. It's only one idea, and I don't need an answer if you don't like it or it's impossible. I only want to help, and I'm here for all you want if you have questions. I like your projects! :)

1. That category already exists. If you take a look at http://www.spiffyjr.me/2010/03/05/blitzaroo-event-view-teaser/ you can see the "unknown" category on the right side.

2. Blitzaroo allows every user to create an unlimited number of profiles. For every game you could have one or more profiles and then use the correct one when signing up.

P.S. Your English is more understandable than a large number of native English speakers.

I like both systems of signup. Phpraider works well for me, but with two exceptions:

1. I like to see a category with all the users who don't submitted nothing (unknown status)

2. Alternate Player Characters. That sort of applications are used for the raiders, or at less for gamers with top level Player Characters, in general, and it's normal to have more than one Player character. ¿How handle that Blitzaroo with the signups?

Also, the Blitzaroo system seems good, but as phpraider system, have a lack with the alternate characters. The option to roll a dice (we need to see how functions) it's a good idea.

PS. I would like to tell you Sorry for my poor English, I'm very bad writing it. I hope you can understand me.
